The Summit grew to 24 teams in 1993 and expanded to four days in order to accommodate a 48 game schedule. There was also a new title sponsor, Bud Dry, in conjunction with A&M Beverages of Malone, NY.
On this mid August Adirondack weekend, temperatures were in the 80's, the sun was hot, and the winds were brisk out of the west, perfect weather for Sailin' at the 1993 Summit Classic. Sailin' as in Sailin' Shoe Lacrosse Club whose entries won both the Open and Masters division titles.
The Sailin' Shoe continued their dominance of the Open division with a 16-13 victory over the New England Knights in a game that was reminiscent of the '92 title game.
The Shoe's first time Masters division entry didn't lose a step in defeating the North Country Legends 14-7 to win the Masters Championship.
