Hello friends,

First and foremost, we hope that you and your families are healthy, safe and secure amidst the ongoing pandemic. To those fighting on the front lines, lending aid to the well-being of others, or those dealing with the direct effects of the virus, our thoughts and prayers are especially with you. More than ever, community and foundation are so important. It gives us great hope to know how strong and united the lacrosse community truly is.

Today we are 109 days out and the Lake Placid Summit Classic remains on course as scheduled. However, to relieve immediate pressure, we have decided to adjust the upcoming 5/1 tournament balance charge date to 6/1.

Player Registration: Currently open, here’s the link: 2020 LPSC Individual Player Registration. We recommend that you pass this along to your families/players. Please use this as reassurance that we do intend to host the event and to keep your families/players engaged. Multiple reminders would be best.

Policies: For reference, please click here for our Terms & Conditions, to include cancellation policy, and click here for our Hazardous Situation Policy. Should we be faced with the unprecedented circumstance of summer event cancellation, SLV will do everything in its power to develop a responsible program of refunds and credits in the best possible interest of both our customers and SLV’s continued organizational viability.

Updates: Our team has been closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation since the day we began our “stay at home” order back in mid-March, making decisions with our Lacrosse community in mind, alongside the well-being of the communities in which we operate. We will continue to provide updates as relevant. You can always find the latest here.

2019 Montage: We’ve created a little montage of the 2019 event to help remind us of our #HAPPYPLACE. Check it out here

We ask that everyone continues to do their part, so we can collectively improve circumstances, and so we can #laxplacid and #playlax2020.

Stay well.
