Where you’ve been & where you are now sometimes dictate where it is you’ll go next, but as we’ve all learned – sometimes conventional logic and ways of doing things have to be abandoned, and give way to new processes & different methods.
Every day is new (now more than ever) – so why dive back into the old chaos when there are new paths to choose? Take a different road, an old road, a new road. Free yourself from old constraints. Let the new destination be unbound.
How does lax & relaxation in Lake Tahoe, CA sound in June? Or maybe explore all the Mile High City & colorful Colorado have to offer? Both Western events are open to youth & high school, boys & girls teams.
What about historic Saratoga Spring, NY? A weekend at the fields, the track, SPAC, the lake – you name it, and we’ve got it just 30min North of Albany (boys teams ’22-’30). Or you could stay right there in the Empire State Capital & compete in the 7th annual Northstar flagship, the Capital City Classic (girls teams ’22-’28).
For a pure lax-cation (lax + vacation!) we proudly offer a Monday – Wednesday boy’s event in the village of Lake Placid, NY, where the off-field options are truly nearly limitless. Shop, dine, swim, paddle, climb; there may not be a better team & family bonding opportunity that also features a competitive lacrosse tournament!
If you have a hunger for lacrosse with a side of world-class chicken wings, look no further than Youngstown, NY – home of the Niagara Lacrosse Classic since 2007. An event with capacity for boys, girls, and men’s teams just steps from Niagara Falls, the NLC offers almost as much fun off the fields as on while explore the hidden treasures of WNY.
After a successful first annual offering, the Northstar Showcase will make a return in 2021 to offer the next generation of female student-athletes an opportunity to make each other better. A collegiate-style, fast-paced, high-level day of development will benefit every player that attends. Seize the day – train, compete, and develop in Albany, NY with talent from near and far.
The grand-daddy of them all (no, not Wrestlemania) will be back for year 32 next August. Year 31 was….unique, given we didn’t go to LP…but we may feel comfortable in speaking for everyone in saying – we cannot wait to go back. While still at capacity for all seven days in boys, girls, mens, and womens divisions, we’re always taking new interest and trying to grow our Lake Placid Family. If you’ve been, you know, and if you’re new – welcome, we hope you have the time of your life!
