Lauren Reid Kane is a legendary lacrosse player and coach from Maine. She played her college lacrosse at both Maryland and UMass. Post-collegiately, she has been deeply committed and involved in the growth of women's lacrosse for many years in Maine and around New England. Lauren is a frequent participant in the Lake Placid Lacrosse tournament and many of the young women she has coached have also participated.

Lauren's husband Kevin passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Tuesday, leaving behind Lauren and two young children.

The Maine lacrosse community is a small, close knit group and are rallying around her. We'd like to support Lauren, the kids, and the Maine Lacrosse Community by helping to spread the word and spark our lacrosse community to help however possible.
