LAKE PLACID, N.Y. -- I covered this event last year.
It was fun to watch the kids and the athletes at the peak of their game play the game they love.
The Powell brothers have played in this tournament.
It's club teams from across the country. I met a guy from San Francisco last year.
I also met a guy who was 72, I believe. A 72 year old man who could destroy me on an athletic field.
That's what is cool about this, the tournament has different age classes and teams of those young at heart can still get out there and give it a go in a competitive field. That was the most fun to watch.
