We welcome over 250 teams, playing in 20 divisions of competition, to the 29th Annual Lake Placid Summit Classic. It is our pleasure to again host players ranging from 15 to 65+, and we will induct two new members into the Legends of Lake Placid Lacrosse on Thursday evening August 2.

We are excited to announce a couple of firsts for the 29th installment of the event. Throughout the entire week, we are hosting our first ever Lake Placid Lacrosse Gear Drive. We invite our participants to donate moderately used gear so that we can, in-turn, deliver the goods to CityLax and Harlem Lacrosse in support of their efforts to grow the game. On Wednesday August 1 at 6pm, we will host the Beyond Past Masters 65+, a game comprised of athletes with a minimum age of 65!

On Monday July 3, we will host the UWLX Women’s Pro Semi-finals. This double-header will showcase the top talent in the
world. Please support these pioneers. For the third year in a row, we will host MLL Legends Alumni Game. The game will take place on Friday August 3 at 5pm. Coverage of the game will be broadcast on Lax Sports Network. The Summit Classic is made possible by
the generous support of our lead sponsors: the Regional Office of Sustainable Tourism (ROOST), Nike, STX Lacrosse, Graph-Tex.

We are also grateful to our advertisers and vendors, and we encourage participants to patronize those businesses who actively support our event, all of whom are highlighted in this program. We also acknowledge our hosts, the Town of North Elba, the Lake Placid Central School District, Northwood School, and the Village of Lake Placid for providing such high quality facilities for our
games to be played. Finally, we are proud to support several charities including City Lax, The Headstrong Foundation, Lead the Way Fund, and a variety of Lake Placid community organizations who support our event.

The safety and well-being of our participants is paramount to the Summit experience, so we once again remind you to be vigilant about safety of players, spectators, staff, and all others in attendance. Please adhere to all facility rules, spectate only where permitted, and be aware of stray balls as you move around the fields. Our ever-visible neon staff shirts aim to be a constant reminder of our commitment to safety.

On behalf of Summit Lacrosse Ventures and Lake Placid Lacrosse, we hope enjoy beautiful Lake Placid, and we sincerely thank
you for being a part of our 29th anniversary event. Best wishes for a healthy and successful tournament, and for a safe return home.
